Rafael and Lewis provided excellent service! There was a slight hiccup after the job was completed. They returned and fixed the issue at no additional cost even though the issue was not their fault.

First Class Garage did a wonderful job in getting my garage door to function automatically . It had not worked for years after it was damaged. I really believed it would cost me a bunch to get it repaired. First class gave me great value at a good price. I recommend!

Luis and team accesses the issue very quickly and once it was deterred how to resolve the issue, they presented me with my options and found even cheaper parts that would fix my issue. They repaired my spring and I will hire them to replace my belt on the garage door.

Two years on from my first visit, my now 16 year old car is still running brilliantly because of the work they’ve done over time. This time there was very little that actually needed doing, which really shows the standard of their previous repairs and servicing. Everything was explained clearly, I was kept informed, and there was no push for unnecessary work. They even stayed late on a Friday so I could have my car back the same day, which I really appreciated. I honestly wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Consistently excellent service and a garage I completely trust.

I experienced a catastrophic failure when a front suspension spring snapped causing a tyre to blow out. I almost lost control of the car. Having called a 24hr tyre replacement service (via the RAC) they discovered the cause of the blowout was a snapped suspension spring. My car was undriveable and I was recovered (by the RAC). But not having a regular trusted garage in Brighton, I was advised to take the car to 1st Class Garage in Kemptown. The RAC left the car outside their premises at 3am on Monday morning, and I was back there when they opened at 8am. 1st Class Garage was outstanding from the start. The owner assessed the car on the ramp immediately and gave me a clear estimate of cost and timescale. Seeing the car up on the ramp, it was obvious I was in good hands, I could tell as even the workshop itself was spotless and well organised, which says a lot about a business. In the end, I had two new suspension springs, another new tyre, brake system improvements and a few additional items sorted. Communication was genuinely first class. I was kept fully informed throughout and the car was back on the road the next day at a very decent price considering. I felt very well looked after, their advice was honest, and the quality of work appears excellent. My car definitely drives a lot better now. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They’ll be my first choice garage from now on. Fantastic experience, thank you.

Love this family feel garage. All the work is guaranteed for a year which instills a great sense of confidence in their work. Always a very friendly reception and theyre happy to discuss anything and answer any questions. Basically they share their time generously. Making sure the customer is happy actually matters to them. Despite the short notice, they had my car fixed and ready for collection by noon, which was a lifesaver as I had a long drive that evening. Gulum, the mechanic and Fatima, the receptionist were absolutely fantastic! The ECU computer system on my van failed and they were both so professional and efficient in getting it replaced (using an external company, so it needed to be posted and packaged etc). Gulum worked out what the problem was instantly and really went out of his way to get it sorted as smoothly as possible. They were both a pleasure to deal with and seemed extremely trustworthy and reliable. I will definitely be back for any work I need done in the future! Thank you!

I had such a positive experience at First Class Garage. Gulam, the technician, and Fatima at reception were both incredibly reassuring and great to communicate with. I really felt they cared about saving me unnecessary costs and treating me with respect, which was such a breath of fresh air after some not-so-good experiences at other garages in the past. Gulam even took the time to show me the parts they replaced and gave me really helpful advice on how to look after my campervan between services. Their honesty, care and professionalism genuinely stood out. I wholeheartedly recommend this garage to everyone, but especially to women, because I felt safe, respected and well looked after. Amazing service from some lovely people! We arrived for a day trip in Brighton on a Saturday about 90 minutes from home and noticed when we parked up our car that there was a lot of oil leaking out. I called the garage who were more than happy to fit us in, even though it meant them staying past advertised opening hours. The reception staff were lovely and we felt well informed by the technician. The issue was identified quickly and took some time to resolve but we were able to enjoy our trip whilst waiting for the work to be done. The work was well priced and the team were really helpful and thorough. We would have been so stuck without their help so want to say a big thank you!
